The Songer Institute's curriculum in Homeland Security provides a comprehensive review of the major components of the Department of Homeland Security; the agencies that comprise the Department; and the laws, authorities and actions of the Department. You will learn to recognize hazards and threats, shape policy, and work within the Department of Homeland Security to prevent the impacts of terrorism and natural disasters. In addition to providing you with a broad understanding of safety and security issues, our online program focuses on:
